Sydney headquartered Internet of Things company 365mesh said it has released the second version of its AmbientAI-V vibration sensor.

The device is manufactured entirely in Australia, as part of the company's expanded local production strategy.

It is a structural monitoring device is designed for construction, mining and industrial environments where continuous vibration monitoring is critical for infrastructure safety.

365mesh, which topped the Fast50 2024 list for growth, has established research design labs across Australia and New Zealand, and invested in large-scale injection moulding capabilities to support local production.

365mesh products are being deployed worldwide across various industries and recently winning the bid to deploy safety and environmental monitoring products into the Australian Government Canberra Light Rail project.

The AmbientAI-V sensor measures ground-transmitted vibrations to assess their impact on structural infrastructure, including bridges, buildings, and mining operations.

It features a heavy milled and anodised aluminium IP67 enclosure designed for durability in harsh Australian conditions.

Connection to the 365mesh cloud platform is maintained through multiple communication channels including wired ethernet, Wi-Fi, 4G/5G networks, and direct-to-satellite connections for continuous 24/7 monitoring.

The AmbientAI series forms part of 365mesh's Greenmesh solution, which is an artificial intelligence-powered workplace safety and environmental monitoring system, also developed and manufactured entirely in Australia.
